The Haimer 3D‑Sensor New Generation with integrated BT30 taper is the evolution of Haimer’s proven Universal 3D-Sensor, redesigned for greater mechanical stability, improved durability, and a more compact form factor. Designed for precise edge-finding and part alignment, this tool delivers unmatched accuracy for CNC and EDM applications.

This 3D-Sensor allows measurements in all three axes (X, Y, Z), simplifying workpiece setup and reducing errors. When the dial indicator reaches zero, the spindle is exactly aligned with the workpiece edge, no calculation needed for the probe tip diameter.

Each unit includes a short Ø 4 mm ceramic probe tip, ideal for standard measurements with excellent shock resistance. For more complex features or deeper locations, the long probe tip is available separately.

This model is individually calibrated by Haimer in Germany and meets IP67 standards for coolant protection. As an authorised Haimer distributor in South Africa, Vertech supplies only genuine products with full local support and service.
