Haimer Universal 3D-Sensor
The Haimer Universal 3D Sensor is a highly accurate, mechanically robust measuring instrument designed for CNC and EDM machines. This non-integrated version offers flexibility by allowing the user to mount the sensor in any compatible tool holder, making it ideal for a variety of machine setups.
Engineered for precision in all three axes (X, Y, Z), the 3D Sensor simplifies edge-finding, bore-centering, and part alignment. When the needle reaches zero, the spindle is perfectly aligned with the workpiece edge. No manual compensation for the probe tip diameter is required, just zero it out and go.
Supplied with a short Ø 4 mm ceramic probe tip, this sensor offers excellent resistance to shock and collision damage. For deeper or more complex measurements, a long probe tip is available as an accessory.
Each unit is individually calibrated by Haimer in Germany and rated to IP67 for coolant protection. As an official Haimer distributor in South Africa, Vertech provides local support and only genuine Haimer products.
