Haimer 3D-Sensor New Generation
The Haimer 3D Sensor New Generation builds on the proven success of the Universal 3D-Sensor, offering upgraded mechanics, improved durability, and a more compact housing. Designed for CNC and EDM machines, it delivers exceptional accuracy in all three axes (X, Y, Z) and is ideal for precise edge-finding, bore location, and part alignment.
This model can be mounted in any standard tool holder, offering maximum flexibility across various machine setups. Once inserted into the spindle, the sensor allows you to approach the workpiece from any direction. When the needle reaches zero, the spindle axis is perfectly aligned with the edge or feature, no calculation required for the probe diameter.
The unit comes equipped with a short Ø 4 mm probe tip for reliable collision protection and high shock resistance. For deeper or more complex setups, the long probe tip is available as an accessory.
Each sensor is individually calibrated at Haimer’s factory in Germany and rated to IP67 for full coolant protection. As an official Haimer distributor in South Africa, Vertech guarantees authentic products and full after-sales support.
